Metered street parking near the museum is available to the public but is not privately operated by our organization. Spaces are limited and first come, first served. Payment can be made through the Key West Parking app or nearby kiosks

The museum is accessible to visitors using wheelchairs and mobility devices. An ADA-compliant ramp provides access to the house, and guests are welcome to explore the grounds at their own pace
Built circa 1829, The Oldest House Museum offers a glimpse into the people, architecture, and stories that shaped early Key West. Explore period-furnished rooms, family heirlooms, and exhibits throughout the house, then step into the Captain's Room to discover maritime artifacts, original maps and navigational charts, and the history of the island's famous wrecking industry. Wander through the Tom Majors Garden, a peaceful tropical landscape where you'll find the oldest surviving cookhouse in Key West, native plants, and the outdoor spaces that once sustained generations of families.
