Old Island Restoration Foundation, a nonprofit organization, was organized in 1960 to promote the preservation and restoration of historically significant buildings.  The Foundation also administers and maintains the Oldest House Museum and Garden at 322 Duval Street, and provides a scholarship each year to a Key West High School student.

The Nancy Ordway Jameson Scholarship was established to honor the former director of the Oldest House Museum who spent more than 22 years working with the Foundation.  This year (2014-2015) scholarship assistance will be made available through Take Stock in Children.  This is an award winning scholarship and mentoring program.  OIRF's donation will help support graduating Key West secondary students..

Funding for these activities is raised through the annual house tours, membership and other special events.
