Final House and Garden Tour of the 05-06 Season Set for March 17th & 18th
OIRF finishes an exciting tour season with five distinctive and beautiful Key West Homes.

Old Island Restoration Foundation March House and Garden Tour

Friday & Saturday, March 17 & 18 from 10 AM to 4 PM
Tickets $25.00 for admission to all five homes

OVERVIEW OF THE FIVE TOUR HOMES FOR MARCH:
1. 1119 Johnson ST. * Home of Dr. Warren Monson and Susan Monson *
This lovely Casa Marina home has brick walkways to the gardens, pool, coral fountain and waterfall. The home’s easy access to the outdoors represents quintessential Key West living. 0.48 miles to:

2. 1211 Catherine ST. * Home of William Welch *
The “Strunk House”, built in 1933 by the lumber and construction company family which supplied Key West’s building growth for many years. The beautifully renovated home is solidly constructed and spacious. 0.07 miles to:

The turn of the century home and adjoining sheds built in the 1930’s, have been completely refurbished. The sheds, painstakingly restored, are now a beautiful guest cottage in the gardens next to the pool. Around the corner to the right to:

Built in the early 1930’s, this house was recently restored with original Dade County Pine walls and many of the original floors, windows and doors throughout. 0.64 miles to:

This circa 1893 home is on the National Register of Historic Places. Recently renovated, this classic, shotgun style house is tucked away on a quaint Key West Lane.

Proceeds benefit the Foundation's grant, education, and scholarship programs; its Collection and the Oldest House Museum & Gardens and the Mallory Square Museum.
