Old Island Restoration Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization founded in 1960 dedicated to preserving and promoting the architecture and cultural heritage of Key West by providing grant funding to eligible nonprofits and individuals while restoring, preserving, and managing History Museums and the Foundation Collection located in historic sites.
Through private donations and memberships from individuals, foundations and corporations, the
Foundation is working to raise the additional funds necessary to restore, preserve and manage its two
museums and the Foundation Collection; provide additional, innovative programming; and increase grant awards for significant and worthy historic restoration projects in Key West.

Members of the Preservationist Club make an annual contribution of $500.00 or more, to ensure that the Foundation remains a preeminent organization preserving the architecture and cultural heritage of Key West, FL.
